One of the long standing traditions of GCA is the annual Summer and Holiday tours allowing members access to the latest concepts in building a successful retail garden center.

Each year locations are selected on a regional basis, with special efforts made to structure each tour to exhibit new ideas, innovative marketing, and "old family secrets". Some of the industry's finest independent retail garden centers open their doors to visiting garden center operators to share best practices and to open the way for future communication.
